Cold War Argumentative Paper The cold war lasted from 1947 to 1991 and was the closest that the United State had ever come to total destruction and nuclear war. In this paper I will analyze the main moments leading to the close of the Cold War. The moments leading up to the decision that would end the Cold War are full of tension and uncertainty. For example, someone commits the offense by copying and pasting materials or work, in whole or in part, written by another person without quoting appropriate reference credit. Eighty two credits into my college education and I had never taken a writing course. The thought of it filled me with dread. One could ask why I waited so long to take Writing 101. It had been since the spring of 1995 since I last participated in an English course. In addition, I hadn’t taken an online course since 2005. It didn’t turn out to matter, our class began using the new Learning Experience Online (LEO), which replaced WebTycho. At least LEO leveled the playing field a bit since every student had to adjust to a new format. I only enrolled in Writing 101 because it was required. I began Writing 101 with basic writing skills, most of which had been obtained in 1980s and early 1990s. Application of these skills in my writing prior to this course were spotty at best and based on distant memory. I made positive strides in the application of the writing process and improved noticeably in essay construction compared to my writing before this course but made less progress than I would prefer in the proper usage of grammar, primarily due to time constraints and personal management of priorities. The company has followed a competitive pricing model and provides service at an affordable price. It has always tried to place its service all over the globe and give the best of the product to the customer at reasonable price. Thus holds competitive advantage in the market (Kotler and Keller 2012). However in maintaining the marketing activities, the company face several challenges like keeping tracks of return on investment of every single marketing activity especially during the absence of two-way communication between sales report and marketing activities. The other problem is securing more budgets for marketing activities. It is generally difficult to secure more budgets for marketing activity as it the money used for marketing purpose goes as sunk cost and hardly has any return (Hawkins 2012). Managing the website for marketing activities is another problem that the company generally faces. The issues involved in website management include a number of factors, like, writing, designing the webpage, and optimizing the content of the website. Another challenge is to identify the suitable technologies according to the requirement. The selection of right technology solves a lot of unnecessary problems that may arise due to technological fault (Doole and Lowe 2012). Marketing strategies may be perfect while planning but when implemented; it may lead to several problems. The implementation of the marketing plan can be successful if the marketing team is trained properly as they are the people who are going to interact with the customers and make the plan successful. One important challenge faced by the company is targeting the customers in the international market. It is very important to understand the taste and preference of the customers across the globe. NAB operates in more than 800 locations in Australia, New Zealand and all over the globe. NAB being one of the largest bank for business in Australia, works with the small, large as well as the medium business in order to support them in growth and development of the business. Moreover, the organisation provides funds to the essential infrastructures of the area such as the schools, construction of roads and hospitals. Environmental analysis PESTEL analysis The PESTEL analysis is an effective tool used by the managers of NAB in order to analyse the macroeconomic factors of the environment in which the company operates. The PESTEL analysis includes the factors such as the political, economic, social, technological and environmental and the legal factors of NAB. Political- This factor discusses the degree of government intervention into the business of the company. The business of NAB is greatly affected by the governmental policies, foreign trade policies, tax, labour law, environmental law and the trade restrictions. Economic- The economic growth of Australia, interest rate, exchange rate, inflation rate and the disposable income of the consumers plays an important role on the profitability of NAB.
